‘Terrible condition’

SOME 500 metres of road of a link road to Culfadda was in a terrible state, Councillor Margaret Gormley told the meeting.

She called for the section of road 488m from Drumrolla crossroads back to junction 479 be repaired. She said it was an important link road to Culfadda and on to Keash. She called for it to be included for work under the 2018 road restoration programme along with the Townaghmore road.

Senior Engineer, Paddy Hughes said the work would be done under the 2018 Road Restoration Scheme.
