Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival ranked one of the top festivals worldwide

CHAIRMAN of Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Committee, Sean Mc Donagh was high in his praise of all the people who in any way are involved with the five-day festival. Speaking at the launch Sean was delighted to announce that the Festival has been chosen as top 14 th Festival to visit in the World by Canadian’s Flight Network. It is up there with festivals in Brazil, U.S., U.k., Germany and Spain, and reflects the aspects of the festival to bring it to International attention. Sean was high in his praise of the local farmers who bring their prize-winning cattle, sheep, pigs and various other animals for the visitors to view. There is also a high and expanding number of vintage tractors, cars, and machinery on view and he thanked the many people who made the very special effort to put them on display.

Sean said “We are proud to present our fair as a festival where old and new friends alike can meet and savour the hospitality our town offers. We welcome everyone to our town and we assure them
