THE Junior Golf sessions continue every Thursday at 6:30pm and Sunday evenings at 5pm.
THIS is a great opportunity to bring your children along to experience golf and avail of expert tuition of the experienced golfers at the club. Golf is a wonderful pastime and can provide a lifetime of sporting activity and who know’s we may find the next Jordon Speith or Rory McIlroy.
THE Social Mixed scramble took place on Friday evening thanks to John McHugh who also organised the weather. The winners on the night after countback were Brigid & Pat Glynn, Sheila McCrann & Hugh Gallagher from Mary & Bernard Mahoney playing with Rachel Rhatigan & Vincent Holland. LADIES - Lady Captains Day was held on Saturday last, 22nd July. Ms Marie O’Hara hosted a wonderful day for family, friends and fellow golfers. Despite the inclement conditions of earlier in the week, the sun really shone on Saturday. The course was in fantastic condition thanks to our Greenkeeper Paul and the course committee. The prizes were fantastic, and while the golf was played in good company there was a big variation in scoring. The results were as follows:
