RECENT DEATH:
The death has taken place in Lancing, Worthing, England on July 5 of Frank Scanlon, formerly of Meelroe, Cloonloo. His remains were removed to Gurteen Church on Tuesday evening July 18th and the Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, with burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to his brothers, John Joe, and Seamus, his sister Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends . May he Rest in Peace.

CEMETERY MASSES:
The Cemetery Mass will be celebrated in Templeronan Cemetery on Sunday August 6 at 11am. The Killaraght Old Cemetery Mass will be celebrated on Sunday August 13 at 12 noon .
BINGO:
Bingo is on every Friday night at 8.30pm in Gurteen Hall The jackpot was won on last Friday night and starts at €1500 next Friday night with a lotto jackpot of €300. Profits are shared for the Hall upkeep and the local GAA Club Eastern Harps.SUMMER CAMP: A multi activity Summer camp for boys and girls age 6 to 12 will be held from Monday July 31 to Friday August 4 from 9.30–3pm. SUMMER SEISIUNS:
The Summer Seisiun continues in the Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm. This stage show features the resident group -which includes Junior Davey, Michael Hurley, Fiona Doherty, PJ Hernon, John Dwyer, Niamh McGloin, Cliona Henry, Maureen O’Dowd, dancers Conor Walsh and Laura Ganley all showcasing traditional music at its best and the audience is entertained with a variety of traditional music, song and dance.
