Mobile banking in Ballymote

CLLR Dara Mulvey has received information that Ulster Bank plans to roll out a mobile banking van in south Sligo.

Cllr Mulvey earlier expressed concern that businesses and the elderly would now be more vulnerable because they will have to hold onto more cash owing to the closure of the Ulster Bank building in Ballymote.

“I am seeking clarity from management as to the exact services this mobile unit will provide,” he said.

“Possible stop off locations are being investigated,” he added.
