Teen stole Tesco Xboxes

A 17-year-old youth has been put on a Supervisio­n Bond for a year over charges of stealing over ¤500 of Xboxes from Tesco last year.

The teenager, who cannot be named as he’s a minor, was charged with stealing a Huaweii mobile phone and Fall Out Xbox worth ¤140 on April 5th 2016 at Tesco. He was also charged with stealing four XBox games and a mobile phone from Tesco the next day, worth ¤378.

His solicitor Ms Laura Spellman said the matters had been adjourned since last March.

Inspector Donal Sweeney said the youth hadn’t come to any Garda attention since.

Judge Kilrane agreed to impose a 12 month Supervisio­n Bond on condition he comply with the Probation Officer on all matters.
