Funnyman Pat Shortt and his ‘tings’ come to Art Deco

Ballymote Celtic will present Ireland’s most famous funnyman, Mr Pat Shortt and his “Hows Tings” tour at The Art Deco Theatre in Ballymote for one night only on Bank Holiday Sunday night, August 6 th.

Tickets are selling quickly, with only around 50 left with the event taking place this weekend.

This is a ticket only event. This will be the first ever time Pat Shortt will visit Ballymote, and is a night not to be missed.

In a night of music and mayhem, Ireland´s most popular comedian takes a uniquely hilarious look at Irish life.

“How’s Tings” features a variety of characters including “Eugene Mulumby”, (chairman of every organisati­on in the town), formidable nun “Sister Ulkaria” and the philosophi­cal Stop/Go man,all of whom talk about tings.

Big tings and little tings. Personal tings and tings that are not so personal.

Important internatio­nal tings and tings that only affect the parish.

Recently seen on TV screens in the acclaimed “Smalltown” and having appeared in the recent new film “The Flag”,Pat takes a break from screen appearance­s to return to the comedy circuit.

Pat Shortt has been on the go for decades. Featuring in shows such as Father Ted, Killinascu­lly, and films such as Garage, The Guard, Calvary and much more, he has become one of the best known faces in Irish comedy.
