TV Dragon Gavin Duffy says he is looking forward to spending a celebratory evening in Sligo.

As special guest at The Sligo Business Awards 2017 he hopes to impart some words of wisdom to all in the business community.

The associated sponsors for this year’s event who were at the launch last Thursday were delighted to hear that the well known TV personality will be the guest of honour.

The sponsors include Callan Tansey, AIB, McSharry Foley & Money Plus, EBS, Abbvie, Eir, BOI, IT Sligo, Sligo Park Hotel, Quayside Shopping Centre, Collins McNicholas, David McConville and Gilroy Gannon.

Both The Sligo Champion and Sligo Leader Partnership who run the event paid tribute to each of the sponsors thanking them for their generosity and support.

The Sligo Business Awards were created in 2013 in order to recognise the achievements of local businesses and reward them for their commitment to excellence and customer service.

The awards are county wide and aim to highlight the innovation, diversity and talent of businesses across all sectors.

It is FREE to apply and is open to everybody who is in business.

Applicants can apply or nominate a business for an award.

The recipient of the 2017 Business of the Year Award will be chosen from the winners of each category. Judging will be carried out by an independent Panel of Judges. Applicants have until Friday September 08 to get their entries in.
