Defibrillators for Ballygawely

The Sooey Ballygawley Defibrillator Group has confirmed that defibrillators have been installed in all 3 locations following a major fundraising drive. The locations are as follows: • Sooey Community Hall • McTiernans Daybreak Ballygawley

• Kilross National School

Community activist Thomas Walshe said: “The code to open the cabinet which secures the defibrillator is 0000. They are easily accessible to any one of you who may be faced with an emergency.

“It is important to follow the instructions outlined on the front if the cabinet to access the unit. Please spread the word to all your family and friends”.

The Sooey Ballygawley Defibrillator Group confirm that further CPR training will take place in September in Sooey hall and dates will be confirmed shortly. Thomas congratulated everyone involved in the process.
