Adrian wins Class at Dublin Horse Show
THERE was Sligo interest at the recent Dublin Horse Show in the RDS.
Adrian Gilmartin, from the wellknown Gilmartin showjumping family in Collooney was competing at the prestigious event.
Adrian, on board Carnaval Cocktail was competing in the Amateur Class.
It was a great performance by the pair, with Adrian coming first in the class.
This meant he got through to jump off.
Adrian is a regular competitor at some of the country’s top events.
This year alone, he competed at the Cavan Spring Championships, the Mullingar International Horse Show, Connacht Region Amateur Championship and also events in Tubberbride, Claremorris and Ravensdale Lodge.
Since it was first held in 1864, the Dublin Horse Show has become an institution, with the best International show jumpers taking part, with thousands of visitors.
