CADRA TIDY TOWNS

Cadra has been in communication with the owners of Carraroe Retail Park concerning the appearance of the area outside the wooden fence at the entrance to the retail park. We are delighted to see progress has been made with work commencing on planting of flowering shrubs in the area. We express our appreciation to the owners of Carraroe Retail Park and look forward to having the area maintained and blooms next year.

ONE WAY TRAFFIC

Due to requests and suggestions around traffic measures and safety Cadra is currently in discussion with Sligo County Council re the development of a one way traffic system at Church.

The concept is to have traffic enter from the School side and Martin Reilly Garage side but exit only opposite the church Gate. The idea is to reduce the number of cars meeting at the school side of this very busy junction. The objective is safety.

We would welcome your views on the issue and will be interested in hearing your feed back over the next few months. Contact any committee member or email carraroesligonews@gmail.com.
