FUN WALK

The 24th annual fun walk takes place in Culfadda on September 3, at 1 p. m. Proceeds are in aid of the North West Hospice. Registration at 12.30 p. m. in Culfadda Community Centre. Sponsor cards are available from Seán Connolly, Higgins’ Culfadda, Margaret McGowan ( 071 9182344) and Kieran MacGill ( 087 1676180) or any committee member. Music afterwards by Mary Rose and Enda in Higgins’ from 6 p. m.

DEATH

Our deepest sympathies rest with Sharon Higgins on the death of her mother Elizabeth, who sadly passed away last week. Elizabeth will be missed by us all.

Herself and her late husband Tommy played a hugh part in our parish community for years in the successful running of Higgins’ lounge in Culfadda. They generously supported many different good causes down through the years, often in a very quiet manner without many knowing at all.

We are much indebted as a parish to the Higgins family for all their kindness and generosity down through the years and truly pray that all such kindness will now receive the ultimate reward.
