SOCIAL DANCE LESSONS

social dance lessons start in Easkey community centre on September 5. Lessons start at 8 p. m. and there will be a live band after to dance the night away.

‘ BLING IT BRING IT’

On Sunday, September 10, at 1 p. m. Killeenduff National School will hold their annual 5K ‘ Bling it Bring it’ walk or cycle. Registration at the school from 11.30. Bling your bike or buggy or even your puppy. Entry fee: € 10 per adult, € 5 per child or € 20 per family. All welcome to this fun family event.

HERBIE BOLAND R. I. P.

The death has taken place of Herbie Boland, Knockacullen, Dromore West. Mass of the Resurrection took place in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Dromore West followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin. Sympathy is extended to his family and relatives.

There was no winner of the jackpot in the Easkey lotto draw on August 11. Numbers drawn were 8, 15, 30 and 33.
