Winter programme at Family Resource Centre for coming months
Due to staff holidays, a limited public service will be available at Ballymote Family Resource Centre during August 2017.
From now until September 1st, the centre will be open to the public on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9.30 a. m. to 1 p. m. A telephone service will also be available at 071 9197818 during these times.
Voicemail messages may be left outside of these times. The centre will resume its normal service, Monday to Friday from 9.30 a. m. to 4.30 p. m. from September 4.
The Sligo Support for children with Challenges group meets at Ballymote Family Resource Centre each Monday from 10.30 a. m. to 12.30 p. m. The group meets to have a chat and exchange information over a cuppa. It hopes to organise talks from professionals in this field during the coming year.
Children accompanying the members can avail of the Sensory Room during this period without prior booking.

Youth Speech and Drama classes will resume on Thursday afternoon, September 21, at Ballymote Family Resource Centre; from 3.15 p. m. to 4 p. m. for ages four to eight and from 4 p. m. to 5 p. m. for ages nine to 13.
The classes are conducted by tutor, Tori Lee, who teaches all aspects of acting and drama. Contact Francis at 071 9197818 for more information or to enrol.
Two new 10- week Iyengar yoga classes will start on Thursday, September 7; Beginners at 6.30 p. m. and intermediates at 8 p. m. at Ballymote Family Resource Centre. Contact Therese 086 3230197 for further information or to enrol.
The Walking Group group meets at Ballymote Family Resource Centre each Wednesday morning at 10 a. m.
