Warriors Run gets underway

And for the spectators, there will be plenty of live music throughout the evening in The Festival Marquee and in the Pubs around the village. As always, there will be a number of road closures and traffic restrictions in place for the day and the organisers are once again encouraging anyone travelling to or from Strandhill to leave the car at home and avail of the extra services in place from Bus Eireanns Shuttle Bus which runs throughout the day from approx. 8am up to midnight. Avoid the fuss and take the bus.

The Warriors Festival Committee would like to thank their main sponsors and all the other supporters of the event without whom the race would not take place. Also a big thanks goes out to our 150+. As this year Sligo is the European Volunteer Capital, the Warriors Committee have a special gift to present to the volunteers in advance for their precious time
