Lough Talt road repair

THERE are no plans to upgrade a section of the Tubbercurry/Lough Talt Regional Road between Roddy’s house and Goldrick’s house this year.

Cllr Jerry Lundy put down a motion calling for the stretch to be re-surfaced as it was “very dangerous and in a very bad condition.”

However officials said other roads were in a worse condition and they had to be done.

If the Council gets an increase to funding next year that section could be considered for inclusion, they said.
