Noble Six event

NORTH Sligo Sinn Féin will host a wreath laying ceremony in remembrance of ‘Sligo’s Noble Six’ takes place at Lislahelly, Glencar on Sun 24 th Sept at 12 noon. The main oration will be given by Donegal Senator Pádraig Mac Lochlainn.

This year marks the 95 th Anniversary of the killing of Brigadier Seamus Devins, Div. Adj. Brian McNeill, Capt. Harry Benson, Lieut. Paddy Carroll, Vols. Tommy Langan and Joe Banks.

Blain Feeney chairperson of the organising committee for the event would like to encourage everyone to come along on the day.
