Drumcliffe Rosses Point in All-Ireland Sevens
THE DRUMCLIFFE/Rosses Point senior men’s footballers competed in the Kilmacud All-Ireland sevens in Dublin for the first time ever last Saturday. They drew one and lost two of their three group matches. Niall Collery turned in a man of the match performance in the 2-10 to 4-4 draw with Glenavy of Antrim. The North Sligo men were competitive too in their games against St Olaf’s of Dublin and Leixlip of Kildare despite eventually losing both matches.
