COFFEE MORNING THANKS

Our sincere thanks to all who supported the coffee morning for the North West Hospice in Merville Community Centre on Thursday last. This event was held in associatio­n with the Merville Active Age Group.

ACTIVE AGE GROUP

The Merville Active Age Group are back after the summer break. The group meet on Tuesday nights at 7.30 p.m., new members are always welcome to come along and get involved.

CENTRE ACTIVITIES

Merville Community Centre hosts this autumn a range of activities and classes including piloxing and martial arts. Contact Merville Office at 071 9150029 for informatio­n of times.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The main hall is available for children’s parties on an individual booking basis at weekends only at very competitiv­e rates. Contact the centre office at 071 9150029 for details.

EXTRA SPACES AVAILABLE

The Merville Centre have some new extra weekday evening slots available in the main hall availa- ble for hire by local groups and activity classes fire hire in 2017. PENDANT ALARMS

Merville Centre facilitate on behalf of our community the provision to eligible persons of social monitored pendant alarms, under the Seniors Alert Scheme that is administer­ed by Pobal.

Equipment funding is available for eligible persons over 65 years for the installati­on of an monitored alarm on a landline in the persons home. The annual monitoring charge is then payable by the user. Contact Merville centre office at 071 9150029 for further informatio­n.
