Digital Skills class will run from September 21 for five weeks. This class is full but if you’re interested in learning computer skills contact us with your name and mobile number and we’ll put you on the list for future classes.

SLNCR ANNIVERSARY

The 60th anniversary of the last train passing through Dromahair September 30, 1957. A special commemorative event will be held in the club house on Saturday, September 30, from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Old photographs and memorabilia will be on display and there will be a talk by Margaret Connolly. This should be a lovely occasion to meet past acquaintances and recall the glory days of the SLNCR in Dromahair.

BUS TO KNOCK

There is a bus to Knock on Sunday, October 1 (Rosary Sunday) from Newtownmanor Manorhamilton area. Pick up at Bee park at 10 a.m. Contact Anne 086 2242828.

MUSIC LESSONS

Any adults out there interested in learning to play music? Tin whistle, flute, fiddle or banjo. We might get a class going in Killenummery hall during the day if there is enough interested. Contact Theresa at 086 1625287.

BINGO

Bingo is played every Monday night at 9 p.m. in the Blue Devon. All lines €30 except games 5 and 10 which are €50. All houses €100 and last game €200. Your support is much appreciated.

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT

Come along and join us in Clancy’s, Killeen, Dromahair for Life In the Spirit Seminars on the following dates: Friday, September 22, Friday, October 6 and October 13. Starting each night at 8.30 p.m. Refreshments served.

NOVENA

The annual Novena in honour of St Therese of Lisieux will take place at St Therese’s Church, Ballintogher, from Sunday, September 24, to Tuesday, October 3, at 7.30 p.m. each evening. More details later.

JIVING LESSONS

Jiving lessons are on in the Blue Devon on Sundays at 7 p.m. with jiving instructors that are all-Ireland Jiving Champions. It is for four weeks only. Contact Conor for further information at 086 0789686.
