CHURCH GATE THANKS
Riverstown Community Games would like to extend a huge thank you to the local community who contributed so generously to a church gate collection held recently in aid of Community Games funds. Taunagh, Riverstown and Sooey Churches raised a total of €583.41 between them. Well done and thank you to all involved.
8K FUN RUN
There will be an 8K Fun Run/ walk plus a Mini/children’s run on Sunday, October 1, in Riverstown at 2 p.m. Registration will take place in Little Buddies on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. And before race from 1 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. Both races will begin promptly at 2 p.m. This is a timed event. Mini race/walk to include Community Park. Suitable for younger children and pushchairs. Walkers welcome on both routes. All proceeds in aid of Little Buddies. Entry: Adult €10, child €5. Family €25. Refreshments will be available after event.
PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

KIDS JIVING LESSIONS

HORSE RIDING LESSONS
Children or Adults Horse-riding lessons are available as a group or privately. All levels are catered for. Specialising in flat work, showjumping and trekking. Currently offering a September package for €50 for two group lessons and one trek. Beginners 11.30 a.m. to midday, Intermediate 12 to 12.30 p.m. And Advanced 10.15 to 11.15 a.m. Registration night for new members will take place on Monday, September 11, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Morrison Cottage. SAFETY TRAINING
The following safety courses will be run in Millview House (Sligo Folk Park), Riverstown: PHECC First Aid Response (OOI Occupational First Aid) on Friday, September 29, and Friday, October 6, and 13. Cardiac First Response will take place on Saturday, November 4. Basic First Aid will take place on Saturday, November 18. ADR/Hazchem Tanker Training also available.

SHAMROCK GAELS
The club will be hosting ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Friday, November 17, in the Clayton Hotel. This will be a major fundraising event for the upkeep and maintenance of the main pitch in Coola and also the Gaelic pitch in Riverstown Park. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
