WEST SLIGO FORUM AGM

The annual general meeting of the West Sligo Forum Limited will be held in the community centre, Easkey on Tuesday September, 26 at 9 p.m.

DROMORE VILLA FC

The Dromore Villa FC 2016/17 awards night was held in the Still Bar and Restaurant on Sunday, September 10. Medals were presented to the under-12 boys’ team who were runners-up in the Division 1 Shield and the under-16 girls, who won the shield. Well done to both teams on a great season.

Individual awards were presented at all age groups. Thanks to Kirsty and staff in the Still for the refreshments, Eoin Conlon for the Music/PA system and to all the parents and family who were there, it was great to see such a crowd come out to support the players.

NOEL LANGAN R.I.P.

The death has taken place of Noel Langan, Caltra, Easkey. His remains were removed from McGowan’s funeral home to St James Church, Easkey for Requiem Mass and burial took place in Roslea Cemetry. Sympathy is extended to his family and relatives.
