50 Canadian students at IT
IT SLIGO’S INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TAKE IN COUNTY’S BEAUTY
PICTURED are some of IT Sligo’s significant international student grouping who who climbed Knocknarea mountain and also visited Glencar Waterfall last week as part of their induction programme at the college.
The Institute currently has 359 international students from 49 different countries.
The new intake has seen a record number of Canadian students (50) take up full-time courses at the college.
IT Sligo has also welcomed its first Indonesian student, Maria Tamtomo Putri, who is studying for a BA (Honours) in Architectural Design.
There are currently 20 different nationalities on the Architectural Design degree programme.
