Sligo Cemetery plan is due soon

The Council is putting plans to extend Sligo Cemetery out to public consultation by the end of the month.

Cllr Chris MacManus was told that a final report is expected by Christmas. As it is likely to cost in the region of ¤1.2million, they will have to consider building it on a phased basis.

Cllr MacManus welcomed the progress update and was supported by Cllr Tom MacSharry on his motion.
