SLNCR 60TH
The 60th anniversary of the last train passing through Dromahair September 30, 1957. At 8: 10 on September 30, 1957, the last train of the SLNCR pulled out from Dromahair station. Have you any recollection of the event? A special commemorative event will be held in the club house on Saturday, September 30, from 7: 30 9 p.m. Old photographs and memorabilia will be on display and there will be a talk by Margaret Connolly. This should be a lovely occasion to meet past acquaintances and recall the glory days of the SLNCR in Dromahair.
