The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 3, in the Parochial House at 9 p.m. The ongoing parish enhancements were evident in recent weeks with some great power washing done at various locations. Well done to the volunteers involved.
NACE O’DOWD PARK
Nace O’Dowd park is open again for activity with matches played there over the past six weeks. Many thanks to the hard working club committee for making this happen and to all the businesses who have come on board as park sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities still remain. We are very proud now to have a top class facility available to the park users. Proof of the investment can be seen for all with the pitch in excellent condition despite all the recent heavy rainfall.
ROCK GIG
Coolaney-Mullinabreena GAA are thrilled to announce the confirmation of an event sure to have a huge appeal near and far. ‘Tubbe.
Rocks’, A major rock gig headlining the superb talents of Sligo musicians, Shane McGowan, Séamie O’Dowd, Kieran Quinn, Ken McDonald and Donal Cunnane will take place in St Brigid’s Hall, Tubbercurry on Friday, October 27, This brilliant band of legends are widely renowned and tickets are sure to be in great demand. The support acts have been announced as Lana Moore, Daragh McDonagh, Colin Marren and Fergus McGowan. All proceeds go towards the Nace O’Dowd Park development fund. So save the date and be sure not to miss out.
Tickets, at €15, are now available from event organisers and from MIcky Macs Bar, Computer.

Sophia Housing Tubbercurry are hosting a Bric A Brac sale every Thursday between August 3 and October 26 Open 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All support welcome.
