Training has resumed after the summer break at Coláiste Muire gym on Monday evenings. Times: 6.00pm. Ages 6, 7, 8, 6.45pm. Ages 9, 10, 11, 7.30pm. Ages 12 and up. Adults training as normal at Corran Park.

BINGO

Ballymote Bingo continues every Wednesday evening at 8.30 p.m. All proceeds go towards the local football pitches and the walking/running track, thank you for your support.

HARVEST SUPPER DANCE

Ballymote Church of Ireland will hold its Harvest Supper Dance at Higgins Lounge, Culfadda on Friday, September 29, from 9.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

COMMUNITY TEXT ALERT

Re-registering of Ballymote Community Text Alert will continue for the next three Wednesdays, September 27, October 4 and 11 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Pastoral Centre Ballymote. Forms to Re-register are also available in the Family Resource Centre Ballymote. It is €10 for one mobile and €15 for two mobiles in the same house.

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Sr. Rosarii Cryan formerly of Ballymote, whose death occurred recently.

CEMETERY GRASS CUTTING

To help with the cost of grass cutting in Cloonameehan and Kilturra cemeteries envelopes are available at the church door. Families of loved ones are asked to be as generous as possible.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Gerald and Marie Doherty and family on the death of Marie’s aunt Ann Kilgannon (née Gilmartin) who was buried in America last weekend.

The prestigious Dublin Feis Ceoil invited two singing students Aishling O’Regan and Ronan Coleman to perform two vocal duets at The National Concert, Dublin, as part of their Young Platform Concert Series, showcasing a selection of First Prize Winners at this years Dublin Feis Ceoil. Aishling and Ronan are pictured above at the NCH with their singing teacher Anne-Marie Keaney.
