Staff training and development empowers staff performance in delivering quality care

-

SONAS Nursing Homes consider ourselves to be a leader in health care provision for older people. We are dedicated to delivering a high quality of care to all our residents. All of our staff are guided by up-to-date evidence-based Policies, Procedures and Guidelines. Mandatory training and professional development is on-going and available throughout all eight of Sonas Nursing Homes for staff members across all departments.

Two of our Executive Directors are registered Nurses who understand the importance of having a highly qualified responsive team within each Nursing home. All our Nursing Home staff have a period of Induction and an annual appraisal/review to identify their training needs, skills and abilities.

Sonas Nursing Homes have over 450 Staff members across all departments. We know through proper education and training opportunities each of these staff members will remain happy in their jobs. This empowers our staff in their performance to deliver the best care possible when assisting residents within our Sonas Nursing Homes. This is shown with excellent dignity and respect. It is through hard work and dedication that we build up strong relationships with our Residents, their extended family members and friends. Sonas Nursing Homes are a Home from Home where people live their lives independently through the help of others where we laugh, cry, sing and gather memories together while sharing the old ones.
