SEAMIE O’DOWD

On Sunday the 1st of October, Seamie O’Dowd will perform a much-anticipate­d solo gig at the Hawk’s Well Theatre. One of Ireland’s finest, and frequently accorded legendary status in his native Sligo, Seamie O’Dowd’s musical career has seen him progress from his first radio broadcast at ten years of age, on up through the ranks. Tickets are €15 with a special Go See rate of €7.50 for under 18s. As a very fortunate recipient of excellent medical care, Una Gilmartin, Grange is hosting a pub quiz in McLeans on Friday, 29 September to raise money for the Heartbeat Trust. The event begins at 9pm.

Coolaney Gospel Choir is delighted to present A Night Of Song featuring special guests Ken McDonald, Eoin Troy, Eddie Lee, and Leonard Dorrian at The Mountain Inn on Saturday, September 30th. Spot prizes on the night raffle tickets will be €2 or 3 for €5. Tickets for event available from choir members and local businesses priced €10 per ticket.
