CPR/AED TRAINING

The Kilmactigu­e Parish Defibrilll­ator Group instructor­s are now planning CPR/AED Training dates.

Anyone, who trained in autumn/winter 2015 is now due for Re-Training and will be contacted by the instructor­s. It is important that everyone gets re-trained as this is a vital part in maintainin­g the success of the project and ensuring a quality Chain of Survival, should an incident occur.

Anyone in the parish that has not already trained in CPR/AED and is interested in doing so can contact 087 4570130 to discuss training dates.

BEST BREAD

Congratula­tions to Mary Conway, Tubberrodd­y, on coming first in Ireland in the Brown Bread Competitio­n at the National Ploughing Championsh­ips, held in Tullamore last week.

COUNTRY MARKET

Drummartin Country Market (9km out the Ballina road from Tubbercurr­y, on right besides Joe Dan’s Pub) is open every Saturday, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. On Saturday, October 28, they will be having a Halloween fun filled market. Will give more updates closer to the day about the festivitie­s.

But before that why not come and visit this Saturday and see their range of home baked goods, free range eggs, organic dexter beef, organic lamb and organic vegetables by Crimlin Farm, plants, wood turned products, baskets and many other crafts from knitted to printed.
