CPR/AED TRAINING

The Kilmactigue Parish Defibrilllator Group instructors are now planning CPR/AED Training dates.

Anyone, who trained in autumn/winter 2015 is now due for Re-Training and will be contacted by the instructors. It is important that everyone gets re-trained as this is a vital part in maintaining the success of the project and ensuring a quality Chain of Survival, should an incident occur.

Anyone in the parish that has not already trained in CPR/AED and is interested in doing so can contact 087 4570130 to discuss training dates.

BEST BREAD

Congratulations to Mary Conway, Tubberroddy, on coming first in Ireland in the Brown Bread Competition at the National Ploughing Championships, held in Tullamore last week.

COUNTRY MARKET

Drummartin Country Market (9km out the Ballina road from Tubbercurry, on right besides Joe Dan’s Pub) is open every Saturday, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. On Saturday, October 28, they will be having a Halloween fun filled market. Will give more updates closer to the day about the festivities.
