One off auction for Hawk’s Well
Bag a bargain for a great cause on Thursday 19 th of October at the Hawk’s Well Theatre’s fundraising auction - Lots at the Well.
This one-off, fun and exciting auction evening will have a selection of fabulous and intriguing donated items going under the hammer.
From artworks to unique experiences, there really will be something for everyone. On the night, Niamh Crowley will direct the Sligo Academy of Music Sinfonietta Orchestra and pianist Leonard Dorrian will also perform in the foyer.
Spokeswoman Maeve McGowan says: “Tickets to attend this fun evening are only €5 and include a glass of wine. Advance booking is advised at the theatre’s box office on 071 9161518.
“The auction is one of many events planned to raise money for the theatre’s renovation fund. €550,000 has already been pledged by the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs but the theatre has to raise €550,000 in order to start the renovation.”
On the night there will be a wonderful array of tempting treats with lots of great ideas for possible Christmas presents!
