PETER Byrne won the Hargadon’s Stableford on Saturday with a great score of 40 points holding off Michael Mulvey on 39.
SUNDAY was a blue tee stroke event to decide the final GOY standings. We always manage to coincide blue tee events with very strong winds and it served as a reminder for the impending winds of Hurricane Ophelia. The winner of the KIlcawley Construction Strokeplay was Neil Carew and he won from Tristan Probst and Louis Cabena on a tie break with all players finishing on nett 72. Paul Cox had the lowest gross on the day.
THE 2017 Winter League is starting on Sunday 12th November the dates and list for entries are posted on the Notice Board in the locker rooms. Please put your names down early, the closing date is the end of October. If you don’t have a partner please put your name down and every effort will be made to pair you up with another member.
