Charity single is for Samaritans

THE fourth release from Kieran Quinn’s highly anticipate­d new ‘Our Place’ album is ‘I’ ll Be There’ featuring the divine vocals of Sinéad Conway.

The single was released last Thursday 19 th October. Our Place – Six Songs for Sligo is a new collection of original songs composed by Kieran Quinn. The project sees the launch of a new song every month for six months and culminatin­g in very special concerts Friday 10 and Saturday 11 November.

The concerts will feature a stellar line up of singers and musicians. To date Kieran’s Our Place songs have been watched an incredible 95,000 times!

For this fourth single release, Kieran approached the Samaritans Sligo to dedicate the video to ‘I’ ll Be There’ to its valuable service. Recorded and directed by KDM video production, the video also is supported by volunteers from I.T. Sligo, Hawk’s Well Theatre and Sligo Grammar School.

‘I’ ll be there’ features the voice of Sinéad Conway. While she is classicall­y trained Sinéad loves to sing in all different styles including Musical Theatre, Soul, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Gospel, Rock, Traditiona­l Irish and Folk and can tailor her voice to suit any genre. Sinead is the lead singer with Anything Goes who can be found performing for parties, theatre shows, Kieran Quinn’s infamous theme nights, kids shows, gala concerts, radio shows and more.

Sinead is also a member of The Dublin Gospel Choir and has performed on the main stage at Electric Picnic, The opening of The Aviva Stadium and The Special Olympics among other events.
