St. John’s to launch booklet to mark 30th anniversary
THE launch of St. Johns’ 30 Year Anniversary Celebration booklet will take place next Sunday Oct 29th – Bank Holiday weekend – at 8.00pm in The Sligo Park Hotel.
The book is packed with many interesting articles from club members, interviews with characters from within our club, photos from club functions and events and of club teams.
It also contains many match reports on some of the many successes that our club teams have achieved right from the start up to this present day.
It will also look back at the triumphs and defeats’ the tears and the joys over all those years. But most of all it will show the pride a community of people have in their club, a pride and parish spirit which was shown at its best at the recent county final and replay victory.
The Launch Night will be a special occasion with interesting discussions with panel of guests discussing the three decades since the club was founded.
So come along to the Sligo Park for what will be a great nights entertainment.
