JIVING CLASSES

Weekly jiving classes are continuing tonight Wednesday, October 25, in Newtownman­or Hall, 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Anyone can dance, so come along – with practice you will be dancing like you never danced before. No need to sit watching dancers at social events, you will be able to join them on the dance floor. PILATES

25 CARD GAME

The Progressiv­e 25 Card Game in Newtownman­or Hall, continues on Fridays at 9 p.m., as previously. All card players are welcome and we look forward to new members coming along.

LEARN TO JIVE

A & C Country Jiving are starting adult jiving classes on Sunday, November 5, at 7.30 p.m. in the Morrison Cottage Riverstown. This is a four-week course that will have you ready for the Christmas parties, so come along for great fun and fitness. SHAMROCK GAELS

Preparatio­ns are well under way at Shamrock Gaels club for their ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Friday, November 17, in the Clayton Hotel. This will be a major fundraisin­g event for the upkeep and maintenanc­e of the main pitch in Coola and also the Gaelic pitch in Riverstown Park.
