An evening of words, music and song from the period of the war will be held in Gillooly Hall on Saturday, November 11, at 8 p.m. Proceeds to go towards erecting a memorial to the memory of the eight men from Enniscrone and 12 men from Castleconnor, killed fighting in the Great War 19141918.
