Bros at Tralee show at Banada is a rip-roaring success last weekend

The communities of Banada/ Tourlestrane turned out in force last Saturday night for a charity ‘Bros of Tralee’ style competition.

The event was the brainchild of Marie and Stephen McCluskey who wanted to fundraise for four children’s charities after their twin sons were born premature in 2015.

The event is expected to have raised over ¤20,000 and was sponsored by local firms such as Reddilift, Brett’s Pharmacy, Coen’s Topaz, EJ’s Menswear, Progressive Genetics, Voya, Yeats County Inn, ADAPT and Dunwall Constuction, Top Oil, Sligo Park Hotel and many more. A ‘ thank you’ night will be announced soon.
