CHURCH CAN RECLAIM TAX ON YOUR DONATION.

As a registered charity we can claim tax back on your kind donations to our church as long as it is over €250. We have used this system in the past but because of administration changes in the system, we have not used it for a few years. However, with the help of St Anne’s Parish we hope to claim for 2014, 2015 and 2016. The system of tax reclaiming has always applied to PAYE workers but now includes self-employed and in some cases old-age pensioners.

We will be sending out forms for 2014/2015/2016 during the coming week. If you do not get these forms please contact the parish office at 071 9162136 or 087 8198466 or email carraroe@ holywellsligo.com.

However, when you get the forms please include your PPS number on the forms and sign them. Return them to us by November 12 via the Sunday Collection or to the parish office. If you are not aware of the amount contributed for each year we can check this on our envelops system and include it on the form. Please be assured that all details are kept in the strictest of confidence.

Thank you for your help and support. There is no cost to you in this and no inspection of your affairs.
