Our blotto draw on Saturday, October 28, was held in the Blue Devon. There was no jackpot winner. EXERCISE CLASS
Killenummery Women’s group are running a five-week exercise class with Sue on Thursday evening at 7.30 p.m. in Killenummery hall. All ladies are welcome.
WOMEN’S GROUP WALK
Women’s Group annual 5k walk will be held on Sunday, November 19, at 2 p.m. Registration from 1 p.m. in Ballinagar hall. Proceeds this year go to STOP Suicide. Spot prizes and refreshments in hall afterwards. A good afternoon is guaranteed.
TEAM HOPE
Remember the deadline for shoebox appeal is Friday, November 10. Team Hope shoeboxes from Ireland will go to street children, orphans, children in hospital, poor families, victims of war or other needy situations in Eastern Europe and Africa. This is a very worthy charity and the children really enjoy getting a Christmas box, they have so little and this will make their Christmas. Anyone can make up a box and drop it into the Sligo Champion office Markievicz Road Sligo or Sligo Weekender office 1b Ennisfree house, High Street Sligo before Fri next.

Prayers in Carrowcrin cemetery at 2 p.m. on Sunday next, November 12. Bereavement Mass in St Therese’s Ballintogher on November 13 at 7.30 p.m., then in St Mary’s Killenummery on November 17 at 7.30 p.m.
PIONEER DINNER
North Leitrim/West Cavan PTAA dinner dance will take place on Friday, November 10, in Dorrian’s Hotel, Ballyshannon. Music by the Lakelanders. Please note that there will be Mass in Kinlough at 8 p.m. before the dinner dance. Tickets available from Tommy Sweeney Drumlease.
