Reporter congratulated

Sligo Champion journalist Sorcha Crowley received a vote of congratulations from elected members at the monthly meeting of Sligo County Council last Monday.

Ms Crowley was named as the Newsbrands Ireland Regional Journalist of the Year 2017 at the Mansion House in Dublin.

Cllr Declan Bree stated: “We are privileged to have an award-winning journalist covering the business of our meetings. I know all of us wish her continued success in her journalistic career.”
