STRICTLY COME DANCING

Preparatio­ns are well under way at Shamrock Gaels club for their ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Friday, November 17, in the Clayton Hotel. This will be a major fundraisin­g event for the upkeep and maintenanc­e of the main pitch in Coola and also the Gaelic pitch in Riverstown Park. Tickets for the event are now available from the dancers or any committee member for €10. Any support would be greatly appreciate­d.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Get Christmas off to a good start with a trip to the Little Buddies Christmas Markets. Browse at a wide selection of Market stalls and Trade-stands followed by a visit to Santa’s Grotto. Children can enjoy free face-painting and crafts and everyone gets a free supper. Stalls open Saturday, December 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, December from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
