‘Embankment’ opens for business

-

THE first new occupant in twelve years has moved into the former ESB regional headquarters in the town centre yesterday (Monday).

Local legal firm Damien Tansey Solicitors moved into the re-named and re-developed “Embankment” building which straddles Castle Street, Thomas Street and Rockwood Parade.

In the space of eight months, the building has been entirely refurbished and renewed both inside and out by Kilcawley Construction for the solicitor. He bought the building last year along with his three sons, solicitors Ciarán and Niall Tansey and Dr David Tansey. Embankment now houses some the largest retail and office floor spaces in the town. The building has three entirely separate and independent office suites measuring over 4500 square metres accessed by lifts and includes a car park with 36 car park spaces.

The signature feature of the complex is the riverside clock tower, now working for the first time in a decade.
