High Street buildings to be dated by consultant

THE owner of numbers 16 and 17 High Street have been given time by Sligo County Council to bring in an expert to date the 17 th century buildings.

Councillor Declan Bree was given the update at yesterday’s meeting of Sligo Municipal District. Officials said the owner hadn’t met a deadline to protect them and were disputing the age.
