SUICIDE PREVENTION
Vincent McGowan Foundation QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention will be held in Easkey Community Centre on Thursday, November 30, from seven – 10 p.m. Attendees will receive their ‘Gatekeeper Cert’ and a copy of the QPR Resource Booklet. Windmill Players are back with a ‘Bang’ this autumn in Dromore West Community Centre performing Ray Cooney’s hilarious farce, ‘ Tom, Dick and Harry’. SCOR NA BPAISTI
The first ever Sligo Scor na bPaisti was held in Rathcormac on November 12 and was a great success. Well done to the Instru- mental Music group from Owenbeg National School and Amber Jade McDonnell solo singer from Rathlee National School, who won first place in the competition.
RUTH GOLDEN R.I.P.
The death has taken place of Ruth Golden née Kearns, Donecoy, Templeboy. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Templeboy followed by burial in St Joseph’s Cemetry, Templeboy. Sympathy is extended to her family and relatives.

Coláiste Iascaigh will hold a Boston Tea Party in the Ocean Sands Hotel on January 26. All proceeds going directly to future development works. On Saturday, December 2, at 2 p.m. Santa will visit the Family Resource Centre in Enniscrone with plenty of fun and entertainment for young and old so come along and join in the free festivities.

There was no winner of the jackpot in the Easkey lotto draw on November 10.
