Culfadda community fundraiser success
THEY turned out in large numbers earlier in the year for the Culfadda Fun Run and the organisers recently presented the cheque with the substantial sum raised of €6166 to Bernadette McGarvey of the Northwest Hospice.
This annual event is organised locally and is widely supported in the community of Culfadda and surrounding regions.
Kieran McGill, one of the organisers, said they were delighted with the amount raised and thanked everyone who participated and those who helped out. The cheque presentation took place in Higgins’ Lounge recently. The money is going towards helping the vital services the Northwest Hospice provides. Bernadette said they were very appreciative of the event.
