NOBODY’S TALKING TO ME
THE comedy starring Tommy Marren and Gerry Glennon from Midwest Radio is coming to the Glens Centre this weekend. It also stars two Leitrim ladies, Deirdre O’Meara Lurganboy, Manorhamilton and Eileen Slevin from Glenfarne.
Following the huge success of ‘It’s The Real McCoy” Tommy Marren returns with a sensational new Irish comedy. Set in rural Ireland in the late 1960s it promises to be a night of amazing Irish wit. The story centres around a couple called Mattie and Maggie Conway who are celebrating their 50 th wedding anniversary. However, what very few realise is that the “happy” couple haven’t spoken to each other in 10 years!! CASTLECONNOR PARTY
A special Christmas party for Castleconnor’s Senior Citizens is taking place on Sunday, December 10 th at 3pm in the local community centre.

Local artists Sinead O’Hanlon and Ana Faye are behind a family event taking place in the Model on Sunday, December 17 th.
Come along and enjoy a fun-filled cracker of a workshop that promises to sparkle with Christmas magic. Followed by a secret screening in The Model cinema.
It is suitable for children aged 6+ and their parents / guardians.
The event is on Sunday, December 17 th from 11.30am – 3pm.
It is priced at €10 for 1 adult and 1 child and €12 for 1 adult and 2 Children. (2 children max per adult). Booking in advance is highly recommended as spaces are limited.
DREAM GARDEN
IF you want to spruce up your garden with help from one of Ireland’s top designers, then this event in the Model is just for you. On Saturday, award-winning garden designer Leonie Cornelius will be showing people how to design their dream space. This intensive one-day workshop will be a fun filled and creative day which will give you plenty to take away for your space. One on one advice with Leonie is also included in the course, making sure you get exactly what you need for your garden. The course runs from 10am to 4pm and costs A single ticket is €120 for the full day or €100 per person if you bring a friend.
SANTATOWN
IT’S that time of year again when Santatown returns with fun for all the family. This Riverstown annual show is a wonderful experience for young and old.
