CHRISTMAS JAMBOREE
A Christmas Jamboree of social dancing will take place in Taylor’s Art Gallery on Saturday, December 2, music will be supplied by Michael Walsh and friends. Everybody is welcome, and refreshments will be served on the night.
STRICTLY COME DANCING
Shamrock Gaels Strictly Come Dancing wishes to thank all who supported their fundraiser in any way and who were able to attend last Friday night.
Thanks to all the dancers who provided a great night’s entertainment for everyone and worked so hard in the weeks leading up to the event. Thanks to their mentors, all the people who supported the dancers in all the weeks leading up to the event, and all the businesses who provided sponsorship.
The support of all concerned was overwhelming and much appreciated. The proceeds will help the club provide a high standard of facilities in the area for the future.
CAKE AND CARD SALE
There will be a cake and Christmas Card Sale in Taunagh NS on Saturday, December 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christmas cards illustrated by the pupils and homemade baking will be on sale on the day. The school is also holding a raffle with the draw being held at 1 p.m. There are fantastic prizes to be won.

SONGS OF PRAISE
Advent Songs of Praise with Sligo Gospel Choir will take place on Sunday, December 3, at 4 p.m. in Taunagh parish church, Riverstown. Refreshments will be served in Cooper Memorial Hall afterwards. All very welcome.

The North-West Simon Community wish to express sincere thanks to all who contributed to the recent church gate collection at Sooey, €147.25 was collected for the local homeless charity, thanks to the valued volunteers on the day.
