SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY
Castleconnor Community Council will hold the senior citizens Christmas party on Sunday, December 10, at 3 p.m. in our community centre. Bookings can be made by calling Sharon at 087 2785584 before Friday, December 1, Sufficient numbers are essential for the party to proceed. There will be a cover charge of €5. present for this year’s production of ‘’Cupid Wore Skirts’’ by the Cloonacool Players. This is an hilarious three-act comedy written by that great northern playwright Sam Cree.
It will be performed in Cloonacool Community Centre on February 9, 10 and 11, followed by dates in the Hawks Well Theatre Sligo, Ballina Arts Centre, St Brigid’s Hall Tubbercurry and Ballintogher Community Centre.
The cast contains the usual mix of local actors. The play is produced by Seán Walsh and directed by Tom Towey. Anyone wishing to join the group and help out in any way can contact any group member in the coming weeks.
