Trio leave Rovers, as talks ongoing with Gary Boylan

SLIGO Rovers confirmed on Monday that Chris Kenny, Daniel Kearns and Omar Haughton will not be returning to the club.

The Bit O’Red remain in talks with Gary Boylan, although social media was rife with rumours that the Belmullet man was set to sign for Shamrock Rovers.

Rovers had been keen to sign Finn Harps defender Ethan Boyle and were understood to be in talks with the Donegal side regarding compensation, but interest from Shamrock Rovers mean that they may be set to lose out on the Ireland Under 21 international.

Former Rovers defender Gavin Peers looks set to sign for Derry City having spent last season with St. Patrick’s Athletic.

Ger Lyttle currently has 13 players signed up for 2018.
