SLIGO Orpheus Choir presents Carols by Candlelight on Sunday 10 th December at 8.00pm in Holy Cross Friary Sligo in support of the North West branch of the Simon Community - the local homeless charity. Simon Communities across the country provide support and services to over 8,000 people and their families experiencing or at risk of homelessness every year.

Accompanied by an organist, trumpeters, a string quartet and under the direction of Austin McManus, audiences won’t fail to be awed by the joy of these Christmas carols.

Singing a wide variety of classic carols and modern favourites, Sligo Orpheus Choir hope to inspire, entertain and awaken the spirit with carols old and new.

Carols by Candlelight is a wonderful way for families and friends to get together and celebrate the magic of Christmas while showing solidarity with our fellow men and women who, with a little help, can be lifted out of their hopelessness.
